    Terminology

    Unregenerate   A human being that is carnal which has not been cleansed by the washing of regeneration. Election cannot be determined by behavior or works and any attempt to do so would be contrary to the commandments of God.
    		  
     Regenerate   Adopted children of God - for whom Christ died
    		  
      Disobedient A human being that is carnal but has the capacity to be Spiritual, having been cleansed by the washing of regeneration. Election cannot be determined by behavior or works and any attempt to do so would be contrary to the commandments of God. This person is unconverted, non-believing, living according to the carnal nature and pleasures of the flesh, having not put on the new man.
    		  
      Obedient A human being that is Spiritual, having (or is attempting to) subdued the carnal nature, having been cleansed by the washing of regeneration and is being renewed daily by the Holy Spirit. Election can be determined by behavior and works of righteousness and is to be judged by the commandments of God. This person has put on the new man and has become a new creature. By the power of the gospel, this person has been born again by the Holy Spirit, the Son and the Father having made their abode within him. This person is unlike he was before, a new kind of person, uncommon. His behavior has changed, he is established upon a firm foundation, his priorities have changed, he no longer lives for himself, but for Christ.
