The two perspectives of Eternal Salvation
There is only one salvation ever mentioned in scripture. This one salvation, however, does have two perspectives which must be rightly divided before the fullness of the glory of God can be revealed.

Does the Holy Spirit come and go depending on obedience or disobedience?
Scripture reveals that the Holy Spirit is given in measure. Scripture also reveals that we can quench the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we can quench the Spirit in certain aspects of our lives, or completely. We must put on the new man. As we put on the new man the old man is removed. As we put on Christ the carnal man is subdued.

What change occurs at regeneration?
At regeneration one is adopted by God as His child. At regeneration one is adopted by God as His child. During regeneration a change in ownership also occurs. And there is a loosening which occurs, the shackles are removed and the way of escape is made possible.

Polycarp’s Letter to the Philippians
An Annotated Version – Bob Thiel
I just happened across this letter of Polycarp’s and I am especially thankful to Bob Thiel for his scriptural annotations. It is wonderfully written and proclaims the true gospel in its purest form outside of the books included in the Bible

Days of Creation vs Days of the Earth
The story of creation provided to us in Genesis chapter 1 reveals many wonderful things to us concerning God and His sovereign power. In this study of Genesis 1, I will demonstrate why the days of creation should not be confused with what we know as earth days. I will not in any way define the length of a creation day.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works

Matthew 22:14 For many are called but few are chosen
Many of God’s children are called to be obedient; called to live righteously, but few are actually chosen. In order to properly understand what Jesus meant, we must allow scripture to interpret scripture. We can do this by studying Paul’s teaching on the election of grace.

Romans 9:16 not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth
I have always submitted to others interpretation concerning this passage because there did not appear to be any obvious error. That being, those who runneth were those who were attempting to get away or avoid the mercy of God. But that is exactly opposite of its true meaning. When properly understood, it is speaking of [...]

Genesis 3: The fall of Man - a shadow of Regeneration and Conversion
When Adam ate of the fruit of the forbidden tree, the result that occurred is often referred to as the “Fall of Man“. This is an appropriate name and for the most part is correctly taught. However, many specific details concerning this event are over looked and because of this, error abounds and truth is [...]

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins
Christ suffered one time, a single act for all of whom He was the sacrificial offering, the righteous for the unrighteous; the innocent for the guilty. “Once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself”. “Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many”, for if this were not true, then “must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world”, each time a person believed and converted.
