    3 Types: Romans 6

There are three (3) types which are used throughout the scriptures. They can be found as early as Genesis and are elsewhere in the Old Testament, especially in Israel and the tabernacle. They are found in the teaching of Christ and in Paul’s epistles. This study demonstrates how Paul uses them in Romans 6.

Romans 9:16 not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth

I have always submitted to others interpretation concerning this passage because there did not appear to be any obvious error. Romans 8:29-30 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate…

God did choose, did predestinate, did regenerate, and then offered the liberty of becoming the sons of God.

    Romans 6:5 Planted together

Planted together with Christ? No, this does not mean being placed into the ground like a seed.
This phrase has such a beautiful meaning and reveals so much concerning our regeneration that it should, when rightly divided, eliminate any doubts of whether a person can loose their salvation.

Romans 11:5 The Election of Grace

The election of God was nondiscriminatory, or else he would be a respecter of persons. But the election of grace is discriminatory and you are probably more familiar with it than you think.
