This site is not associated with any particular church or denomination. This site presents the truth of scriptures as revealed and confirmed by the Holy Spirit using scripture to interpret scripture. As Peter teaches in his second epistle, the Holy Spirit is the origin and author of every word of God. The Holy Spirit moved the prophets of the Old Testament just as he did the Apostles of the New Testament. Because the Holy Spirit is the origin of every word, the Holy Spirit will not contradict Himself. Therefore, no scripture is of any private interpretation by the will of men, but by many men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the Holy Spirit, being the origin of all scripture will always be in harmony with Himself. |

I first established www.BaptistCommentary.info January 31, 2006 as a regular website. At this time the ".com" domain was owned by someone else and it seemed that the ".info" domain was more appropriate since this was to be an informational site. For the next year I had about 100 visitors total. On Jan 25, 2007 I purchased the BaptistCommentary.org and BaptistCommentary.net domains. The BaptistCommentary.com domain was still owned by someone else, but I became more determined to acquire it. On April 16, 2007, the BaptistCommentary.com domain became available and I did not hesitate to purchase it as well. Shortly after the purchase of the ".com" domain, I made the move to a document mangement system by WordPress (aka Blog). It was not until this move that my traffic began to grow. I must admit that the blogs ease of posting studies was much easier and thus my content began to grow, so some traffic increase could be contributed to this fact as well. As of September 27, 2007, this site had been visited 1500 times. As of November 15, 2007, this site had been visited 2000 times and had recorded a total of 2,392 page views. As of September 10, 2008, this site had been visited 5000 times and had recorded a total of 9,913 page views. |
