Our Eternal Inheritance of Life and Salvation is reserved in heaven for each of God’s children. It does not do much for us being kept up there. So God the Father has provided a way for each of his adopted children to reap the benefits of it in this present world. The Father has given Christ the authority to pass judgement upon each child, and reward them for their obedience. This salvation and life comes by way of the Holy Spirit, and is the earnest of the inheritance that is bequeathed to each child at the time of regeneration and adoption, as the scriptures teach in Ephesians 1.
